Waterville is about 80% open with pretty good edgable snow on most of the groomers. it gets scratchy after 2pm but pretty good otherwise. the park is open with 6 or 7 tables and other rails and hits. the pipe is not close and it looks like they are conceeding it. waterville, in the last week, has chosen to put in no fewer than 4 distinct seeded bump lines ( lines.. not "fields" with about 20 turns total, but lines with at least 75 to 100 bumps with 3 and 4 lanes wide ) on their hill. there are seeded bumps on stillway ( a green ) old t and tyler ( blues ) and abandon ( a black ) ( waterville has measly 250 acres of skiable terrain and about 50 trails of mixed greens blue and black and has received less than 100 inches fo snow so far- none of this info should be misinterpreted as a shot  at any of the other new england ski areas like jay or killington - a certified joke of a hill- that have much more snow and more terrain) - or loon or cannon ( same snow same terrain as wv ) or any of the other sorry ass places that are dealing with the same resources if not more , that the little hill in waterville, yet cannot justify putting in decent bumps to ski .. especially in a sorry snow year like this.
the bumps at wv were very impressive. whoever put them in understands bump skiing for sure as they were all laid in super tight and will last for a while. waterville deserves a ton of credit for what they did.. the only place so far this year that i can say has truly tried to take care of everyone..amazing.. on wed wv was running 2 different races for the stick chasers, had plenty of groomers for those who like that sort of thing, had a park that was going off and , god save the queen, had 4 different bumps lines going with those evil man made bumps----and the sun still came up today
( how are the nautral bumps at cannon makin out this year, by the way  ) i'll say it again, place like k and sugarbush and bretton woods with 100 plus trails, and places like the almighty jay peak and all their snow right down to places like loon that are dealing with the exact same conditions as wv are disgraces for not having decent terrain for bump skiers.
