talking about some silly game where you hit a rock with a stick
One more comment like that, and I'm going to lock this thread.
Regarding said silly game....let me get this straight: the fewer times you hit the ball, the better you do, right?

Then why hit it at all?

I recall from that thread that River is temporarily on the DL.

Nice new smiley. :stir: I predict it will get a lot of use.

If the 400 meter race starts where it ends, why bother running? Or insert some annoying other stupid comment. Marc I think you just killed a kitten.

Yesterday, I saw a post on AlpineZone with his ski-day total. I guess I hadn't been paying attention... apparently, he's been on the sidelines for the past month. Tough times when I've got higher numbers than RivercOil.

Of course, his powder day average is a bit higher than mine. :-s

15 days by March 25th is pretty sad, hugh? Guess that shows how much Tony is wrong about this season being above average  I missed four weeks due to the injury which means I had 14 days by the end of February. Not inspiring. Managed 11 powder days though. Which suggested it was feast or famine and I cared not to go when it was hard pack.

April is still to come though. Looking forward to spring skiing. Though MRG looks like it will be closing up shop early this week. I will be eating a lot of prepaid vouchers this year.

Hope to see you at MRG on April 4th.

Based upon River's statement, why do we think MRG will be open on April 4?

Based on the following from their website and the fact that it's shareholder day and the forecast might help out.

We will operate through Sunday, March 29 and re-open on April 4th for the Cooperative Annual Meeting, if snow cover permits.

River said he was simply going to eat prepaid tix, I know he doesn't need one for April 4th.
