the race season is just wrapping up for me, short as it is with such long ski seasons. gotta keep my almost 36 yr old figure somehow.
great day of racing for team EMS. scored the second fastest time of the day on the mtb 36 seconds behind first. 180+ bpm from the gun but no foam from the mouth. the fully rigid 29er was as usual, perfect. who needs suspension when the knees and elbows provide it for ya. they made us where our #plates on our backs. pic below

it's like anything else. once yer used to it, yer used to it. like touring tons of days in langes. after a couple of trips they feel as light as my old g rides, but ski way, way better. no, the hands don't hurt, especially riding a ti 29er w good steel fork and some quick reflexes.
oh, looks like the surf is up and the wind may be ideal as well. don't have to work till this afternoon-on it.
