Who's in this week?

Looking at Patrick's thread... it feels like the official end of the regular season on Sunday.

(You gotta earn your turns in the post-season, or maybe drive downeast.)

Who's skiing and where?

I have vouchers for MRG and Stowe remaining. Looks like now or never and with the Inferno happening this weekend, certainly no reason to go near that zoo.

I have two vouchers for gore or whiteface, but my ride (women) bailed. If you got wheels out of NYC you have a free ticket, and company for the ride.

Well, daughter's music class and one car pretty much cancels my Saturday hopes. There is also the forecast which seem iffy. :?

My Sunday options?

1) Tremblant (free 5th grade tix for Morgane + we haven't made it up there this year).

2) Camp Fortune (no free tix) only 18km from home. Good skiing left.

3) Whiteface with a 2-for-1.

The following week (April 26-27)?

A trip down to Ste-Anne and a detour to return someone avy gear.

Maybe Jay or Sutton(?) on the other day. Longshot would be Sugarloaf after one day at MSA due to where I need to return the friend's gear.

May?

Thinking of maybe going for a Wildcat / Tuck combo. :-k However there are many factors at plan for this one.

I have tentative plans for Gore on Sunday, however, the weather isn't looking to be as stellar as it is now. So I may just continue on the massive load of work that has piled up while I was away skiing this winter. Major Spring cleaning efforst are underway at my place.

I did my first mtn bike ride on Tuesday, and the trails are drying up nicely, so it looks like I am in full transition into Spring. My ski season is probably over and I'm already feeling the withdrawal pangs.

Today I'm wearing a skirt and sandals for the first time of the season, so that must mean that ski season is over. I think I am more sad than happy about this (even though it feels good to expose the legs). I just need to get through the transition period, which is always the hardest part.

At least the trails are ready for riding. I will soon be dusting off my windsurf gear. I may kayak a bit, but not if it requires long drives this season (which it usually does for whitewater), but I've been thinking about getting a lake kayak...a sure sign of aging.

Anyhoo, I have put away most of my ski clothing for the season, and have moved my ski boots from the foyer to the closet. My skis were removed from the Rocket Box yesterday. It looks like I'm done

...OMG, that's right.....
Think I'll probably stay up here...Sugarloaf or earning some descents somewhere...

Still can't decide if I'll make the drive to Gore, to get my pass down to $20 a day. One positive is that they are opening the Dark Side.

Probably can't get out of work early, so it would be a late night drive.

James....GOLF...REALLY.

Golf is for those too old to ski.

We have a strict anti-obscenity policy here. Just spell four-letter words like flog backwards.
