i'm reading this link with amusement....where has all this love for cannon been the last 5 years ....where are the weekly reports ? they are not there cause the fact is cannon is not that good on a daily average basis...cannon, while it has good terrain and has amazing road access and...

    Waterville Valley , nh 2-27-08

tony, aside from the fact that the timing of the storm made the roads a total mess and i was already up in lincoln by 6pm that night, i'll let glen plake answer your question. " would you rather ski 2 feet of fresh powder on a big ol boring heli bowl or would you rather ski 2 feet of fresh...

after a good 15 day layoff, it was good to be back on snow for sure... we went to waterville as we had no faith that loon had any decent lines after the mass vacationers...loon and waterville each got around 10 to 12...we skied the true grit comp bump course with nick preston and coach rob's...

question for anyone in mad river glen management

harvey i appreciate you putting that up and the acknowledgment.. there are a lot more important things in life to be angry about for sure, but the hipocracy of this issue is just astounding. people just don;t get it...even people on this site..they think they get it, but they really don't...

question for anyone in mad river glen management

jeepster makes a valid point and i can appreciate what he is saying on the other hand ,normally i agree with crocker just about 100% of the time, but as he said about me a while ago, he'll say it when he thinks im full of it...as i about him this time obsessive? why is it obsessive to only...

question for anyone in mad river glen management

sure , its two fold and it's simple 1) i want to be the best skier i can...i figured out about 6 years ago that in order to ski anything outside of groomed packed powder carpet, ie: trees, powder, steeps, ice and just about anything else we can get here in the northeast, if you can ski moguls...

question for anyone in mad river glen management

first off, to compare loon and mrg is just ridiculous... yes i have advocated loon tearing down their moguls and resetting them... loon has to do that ... the amount of snow they get and the low level skiers they get makes it an absolute necessity if any decent lines are ever going to be had...

question for anyone in mad river glen management

4 days off this week...trying to figure out where to go...maybe someone from mad river glen can answer why they have chosen to groom, after saying on their web site that the snow is plentiful and the conditions are fine, every single blue run they have that would be a decent line for blue...

tuesday: the surfaces have improved a lot over last week's hot rolled steel....they blew a lot of snow and it obviously helped out.. they finally opened up the top part of flume and it skied pretty nice considering as bob r put it, "loon is what it is ".. the bottom of flume is a totally...

i can think of 1 day , i think it was in 2003 , in the last 6 years that the loon/wv cannon corridor had goods that could be compared to goods out west...it was a good 35 incher and our crew actually ended up at cannon as loon didn;t spin... big surprise  ...loon /cannon / wv ... they...

    loon , nh 1-16-08

i think a lot of people are missing crocker's point...i dont believe he is trashing new england skiing per se...although i do believe that the northeast is a single a team compared to the major league clubs out west... i think crockers larger point is that to make a planned trip east to ski just...
