Here’s a hike and bike report
I’ve have been very blessed to have visited a lot of beautiful places. This might be my fav.
The place looks Vails back bowls X 1000
I would love to ski here, ya no deep pow or hair ball descents but just fun cruising.
Anyway went on a 16 mile mellow Mtb ride with 3k vert of climbing.
Then a 3 mile hike that we need to take a Gondi to

I plan to do just that next year. It looks beautiful. That’s Alpe Di Siusi? And you got the gondola up from Ortesei?
Did you hire the bikes at the bottom of the gondola?

I’m staying in Alpe di siusi
Amazing hotel
Hired bikes next to hotel
Very easy.
Seiser alm urthaler
The hotel looks great but ultimately out of my tight arse league. Have you found the food to be mainly German based or Italian or a mix?
When we stayed in Arabba just prior to Covid the language spoken at the hotel was Italian and the food had a distinct Italian bent.
There is a suggestion that the Sella Pass is the point that determines whether the hotels and restaurants and shops will be mainly Italian or German based. South of it being Italian obviously.
