Looks pretty great to me. Due to fly to Snowbird Friday. Between the TSA scenes bombarding my social media and the doom and gloom from Opensnow I needed some photos like that to keep me sane!

From Alta on FB:

🚨 Due to the unseasonably warm weather, Wildcat lift and Collins Gulch will close at 2pm on Thursday, March 26th.

• Wildcat lift will be open from 9:15am–2pm
• Collins lift will be open from 9:15am–4:30, with access to Albion Basin only after 2pm
• Supreme, Sugarloaf and Sunnyside will operate as usual

We will provide any further updates to this plan on our social channels and Alta.com.

Thanks for your patience and understanding while we make a few heat-related adjustments to our operations. We hope to return to our regularly scheduled program as soon as we can. 🙏

Perhaps they are concerned about wet slides during peak heat in the afternoon?

Wondering what a 1 to 2 foot dump will do to lcc, bcc.
Slides everywhere already...
It will freeze..dump..warm up.
Could be a big mess

Slides at s bird..road to provo slid.
At alta backside did and some off the high T.
Small section but they kept it open yesterday. All in all it was a great day out there yesterday. Front side from 12-2 was great, wish they would stay open until 3 but no complaints. Rasta chutes, regulator, great Scott all skiing very well and even the bump runs on lower Peruvian were pleasant through end of day. Didn’t make it over to the gad side at all. Mineral in the morning was fine by 10 and was fine enough but very crowded.

Yesterday at Alta was good after 11...Supreme side was best..then sugarloaf..then Collins.
Its always in that order.
We did go back to sugar side to ski the extrovert area and it was very good around 1:30...
Now we have to contend with a frozen surface with a few inches for tomorrow..then it hopefully accumulates for the next few days..as well as the crowds I'm sure.

Still snowing at Alta as of this morning. The snow conditions report on the Alta website gets updated every few hours during a multi-day snowstorm. Totals get adjusted as needed. I fly to SLC on Sunday morning.

Screenshots are from Alta website the morning of April 2, 2026. First report with timestamp 5:00am was a screenshot at 7:15am ET, the second is from 7:45am ET. I've noticed adjustments before but don't usually pay such close attention to catch the Before and After totals for the same update.

The Alta Lodge webcam shows the line for Collins and Wildcat. There weren't many people in line for Collins at 8:45 this morning. The storm total on the Alta website was 19 inches by 10am.
