Wow, did that snow change today. Untracked snow turned from powder to mashed potatoes to cement. I took a day off from the ski hill and broke trail on my land with a few friends. It was stiff and sticky. But it is still snowing here and I'm going to try to catch some early morning colder snow...

Nice pics! Acidchrist has been reporting good conditions since last week. We've had 2" a day for a good number of days within the last week or so. No big dumps, but plenty to refresh and make for decent skiing.

all my pix are from my Iphone. They are not high quality, but they do take a decent snapshot and do some good video for a device that works well for communications and navigation and a whole lotta other things. The indoor shots are grainy, and the lighting on snow can be tricky, best when sunny...

I've loved Powmow and we seem to hit it pretty good each time. Early Feb is probably a good time for it. Even in a low snow year, Powmow delivered the fresh snow on massive acreage.

Well, I still haven't gone to a ski area since Snowbird. Even with 2" of snow daily this week, I was tempted, but opted to go home and watch the women's downhill instead, which I think was probably much more exciting than riding Chair 1a for 10 minutes and skiing bumps on Fields for 2 minutes...
