Utah’s Solitude and Brighton Resorts Detail New Combined Season Pass

Brighton, UT – For the past decade, skiers and riders could schuss all of Little Cottonwood Canyons’ slopes with a combined season pass at Alta and Snowbird. Now for the first time, Salt Lake City-area residents can do the same in Big Cottonwood Canyon.

We first told you about a new joint season pass between Brighton Resort and Solitude Mountain Resort on Tuesday, and the two Big Cottonwood resorts have now released the details. The new Big Cottonwood Pass provides access to over 3,700 combined acres of terrain, 130-plus trails and 15 lifts all in the heart of the Wasatch.  The scenic SolBright Trail has connected the two resorts for many years, but this is the first time that a combined season pass product has been offered. For $999, this joint pass is valid at both resorts throughout the entire season with no blackout dates and includes night skiing at Brighton. Passholders will find powder, steeps, groomers, trees, parks, and pipes in which to play.

“Brighton is excited to partner with Solitude in creating the Big Cottonwood Pass.  With the new improvements to the SolBright trail skiing between the areas is quick, easy and will add an entirely new dimension to skiing in Big Cottonwood,” said Randy Doyle, Area Manager of Brighton Resort.

“Big Cottonwood Canyon is a uniquely beautifully place and for us to be able to offer to our guests unlimited skiing and riding privileges at both resorts represents a tremendous experience that has more variety of terrain and amenities than any other area can provide,” added Dave DeSeelhorst, Area Manager of Solitude Mountain Resort.

Those wishing to take advantage of the new Big Cottonwood Pass must make their purchase before November 2nd. It’s now available online at www.solitudebrighton.com.
