New Sunday River Zipline Tours Now Open

Newry, ME – Sunday River’s new zipline tours are now open at the ski and snowboard resort in western Maine.n“The addition of Zip Line Tours is something that we have been exploring with our parent company, Boyne Resorts, for a couple of years now,” said Dana Bullen, president of Sunday River. “It’s an activity that we can offer to guests any time of the year and brings us that much closer to becoming a year-round destination.”

The tours, which opened to guests this past Saturday, consist of six lines that traverse the wooded area between the ski trails of Mixing Bowl, Tourist Trap, Outta Here, and Thataway. Lines range between 100 and 300 feet in length and will be available to guests during the resort’s months of regular operation.

Tours consist of equipment fitting, orientation, and a guided expedition through each of the six stations. Interested participants must be at least three feet tall and weigh between 60 and 300 pounds.
