Ski Film Showing in Boulder to Benefit Lake Eldora Race Team

Boulder, CO – Pro skier Chris Anthony will be on hand for a screening of “A Skier’s Journal,” an inside look at Warren Miller Entertainment’s filmmaking process when it screens at the Millenium House Hotel in Boulder this Saturday evening as a fundraiser for the Lake Eldora Ski Team (LERT).nThousands of Colorado ski enthusiasts have seen their sport celebrated gloriously
in the iconic films of Warren Miller Entertainment (WME). As WME’s 61st annual film,
Wintervention, is rolled out to audiences nationwide, a more intimate documentary by
WME will enjoy an exclusive premiere at a fundraiser for
youth ski and snowboard programs in Boulder.

A Skiers Journal offers an inside look at how the WME film crew creates its award-winning cinematic photography
while continuing to search for interesting people and epic places to ski on seven
continents around the world. Join host and Colorado ski legend Chris Anthony as
he takes the audience behind the scenes. Anthony is an accomplished professional skier, a veteran of
eight World Extreme Skiing Championships and 21 WME films, as well as an
author, on-screen personality and businessman.

In addition to the film, other elements of the Oktoberfest fundraiser will include a
silent auction and raffle, as well as food, beer and wine tasting. All funds
raised will support Lake Eldora Race Team ski and snowboard programs.

Formed in Boulder, Colorado in 1975 to support local interest in ski racing, LERT today provides youth programs for athletes with
diverse abilities in skiing, snowboarding and cycling and creates an athlete-centered
environment that fosters competition, personal responsibility, sportsmanship, hard work
and confidence.
