Wrightwood, CA – The $30,000 Cholula Triple Air Show Presented by Monster Energy will return to southern California’s Mountain High Resort in Wrightwood this Saturday following a full practice day on Friday. This is the 13th annual Triple Air and 150 of the best skiers and snowboarders in the North America will be battling it out for $30,000 in cash. The event takes place on Lower Chisolm at Mountain High’s West Resort and includes three professional caliber jumps ranging from 40 to 60 feet.n“This is our biggest event of the season and with $10,000 on the line for first place, you know there is going to be some heavy competition,” confirms John McColly, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Mountain High.
The event includes divisions for Open Snowboard Men’s, Open Snowboard Women’s and Open Skier. Each competitor will take two runs, and scoring will be based on the best run. The top 10 from the qualifiers advance to the finals for another best of two runs.
This is an open event but space is limited to 150 entrants, so competitors are encouraged to register online now at www.mthigh.com/events/tripleair10.html. Registration costs $150 for snowboard men and $125 for women’s and ski divisions, and includes a two-day lift pass for Friday and Saturday.
