Brighton, Park City and Snowbasin Announce 2nd Annual Rail Jam Series

Wasatch Mountains, Utah – Utah’s Brighton, Park City and Snowbasin ski resorts have announced the return of their Friday Night Rail Jam Series to the Wasatch Mountains for the second year in a row.  The Friday Night Jib Fights (FNJF) series consists of seven rail jams rotating between the three resorts over the course of the 2012-13 winter season.

“With the success of last season’s series and the acclaim from the many participants from all around the Wasatch, it just made sense to host the series again this year,” said Jared Winkler, Brighton Resort’s PR and Marketing Manager. Tim Eastley, Snowbasin’s Terrain Park Manager, added, “All the local kids loved the series and with riders coming from as far as central Idaho, each mountain gets to really showcase their parks to new people.”

The FNJF series will begin tomorrow night at Snowbasin.  Each resort will host two rail jams over the course of the season, with a final event in Park City on March 22nd.  Each contest will have the same format and similar terrain layout with each resort’s terrain park crew adding its own twist.  Competitors will register the day of each individual event starting at 4 p.m. and each contest will start at 5:30 p.m.  The entrance fee for all events is $15.  The amateur division will compete for prizes and the open division for cash winnings.
