Albany, NY – Winter sports enthusiasts will get an advance look at the newest fashion and industry equipment, and ski resort packages for the 2015-16 season when the 54th annual Albany Ski & Snowboard Expo returns to Albany’s Empire State Plaza Convention Center November 6-8.
The annual event, which is one of the longest-running consumer winter sports shows in the nation, will showcase the latest models from the industry’s leading retailers and manufacturers while offering shoppers early season discounts on top brands.
The Albany Ski & Snowboard Expo will also feature for the first time a craft beer garden on Saturday and Sunday. Guests 21 years of age and older will have the opportunity to purchase give 3-oz. sampling tickets to the beer garden for $6 with paid admission to the Expo.
The first 400 guests attending the expo on Friday will receive buy-one, get-one free lift ticket vouchers to Vermont ski resorts including Bolton Valley, Bromley Mountain Resort, Mount Snow, Smugglers’ Notch, Stratton Mountain Resort and Sugarbush Resort. The first 400 guests on Saturday and on Sunday will receive buy-one, get-one free lift ticket vouchers to participating mountains in New York, including Belleayre Mountain, Gore Mountain, Oak Mountain, West Mountain, Whiteface Mountain and Windham Mountain.
The offer on the buy-one, get-one free lift ticket vouchers will be strictly limited to one per customer, and a limit of two vouchers to the same mountain will be awarded to members of the same party.
The 54th annual Albany Ski & Snowboard Expo will take place Friday, November 6 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, November 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, November 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Advance discount tickets to the Expo are available for $8 online at albanywinterexpo.com. Tickets will cost $10 at the door. Children 10 and under accompanied by an adult are admitted free. Guests who show their Dunkin’ Donuts card or mobile app at the gate will receive a $2 discount on the cost of admission.
