Twin Bridges, CA – California’s Sierra-at-Tahoe ski resort will host Subaru Conquer Winter Day this Saturday. This free event highlights an athlete signing with Women’s Freeski Halfpipe Olympian, Maddie Bowman.
“This is a unique opportunity for guests and inspired young adults to meet a professional athlete who represents the heart and soul of this mountain,” says John Rice, general manager of Sierra-at-Tahoe. “Maddie grew up here, progressed through our programs and now exemplifies not only a world-class skier, but an outstanding role model for young skiers and riders.”
Bowman is a 21-year-old South Lake Tahoe local who took home the Gold Medal in Women’s Ski Halfpipe in Sochi during the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. She will be signing autographs in the Subaru tent at Sierra-at-Tahoe from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Subaru Conquer Winter Day is open to guests of all ages and will be staged on Sierra’s Solstice Plaza, the 30,000-square foot sun deck located at the base of the resort. Subaru will have giveaways and guests can win a chance to have lunch and ski with Maddie Bowman on the day of the event.
